Antarestrader has a huge number of different concept to implement. I have been implementing them in small playable chucks called minigames. Hopefully there will be one or two of these up and playable on the public site soon.
PL:
This series looks at moving ships between places in the Universe. Planets have a simple produce and consume model and ships move goods from one to another. This is the most advanced of the minigames and will likely grow into the full game by merging in other minigames.
CO:
This series looks at a single colony or perhaps a group of connected colonies all on the same planet. Buildings are plopable and free. The goal is to explore how colony building will work. This is the second most advanced minigame.
MK:
This series looks at market relationships. It is meant to explore the possibilities for commidies markets in AntaresTrader.
Construction:
This uses the same base as the CO series, but doesn’t run any of the maintenance loops. Instead it examines how building permits, construction sites, and building design will work. Slated to merge with CO.
Financial:
This very minimal game has only the financial systems it is more of a test-bead then a game, but explores loans, payments, interest, credit and transactions. May be online soon.
SP:
A planned minigame that will look at ship design and maintenance. This includes remodeling existing ships, custom building new ships adding various components, etc.
Userinterface:
Again this is not really a game but is has a branch in Git. It is where development of user interactions takes place. At the moment topics are Messageing, the JavaScript Interface, Multiplayer Corporations, and User scripting are being worked out. New developments here get deployed as soon as they are stable.
